The Joburg vibe

The Seafood curry would make indians come back for more....it was really yummy. The home made bread needs attention and the roti was a little oily. The venue is pleasants and is amazingly relaxing...perfect for a sunday lunch. This is at the Peach Hotel next to the Wanderers club.

An assortment of cuisine with a truely local flava can be found at the Backroom restaurant and bar, one of the trendiest places to be seen in Soweto

For the best tasting rack of ribs in town (photos dont do them justice) and some nice deserts too, Scusi in Parkview is the place to go.

Killer Calamari at the all white restaurant with funky waiters. Cool toilets and service. Fino, specialising in Spanish Tapas (starters) in Parktown.

Col'Cacchio Pizzeria, off Main Road, Bryanston. A Viby place with great pizza. Some warning, the Chili is really hot don't try unless you do not mind the burning sensation the next morning. Also the Avo is too much and makes the pizza really heavy.

The amzing scrambled eggs, avo and fresh health bread on the side. You will love this on a Sunday morning after a big night out. Also they provide you with a Sunday paper(Read the back page first)."Life is Good". Europa, Village Walk .

The "Desert Burger" at the Gormet Garage in Sandton. Indulgent combination of pancakes, chocolate brownie, caramel & mint. That's if it fits in after the masive burgers. Their nachos are also highly recommended.

Trendy, bright and plenty of shop browsing adjoining the restaurant, the Service Station, Melville, is great for a casual bite to eat, even though the menu isn't all that extensive

Salmon at Yum, Greenside, a little pricy but worth it. Also they give you chocolates instead of mints when you pay. Yum Yum.
